Refund Policy

Last updated: 27 October 2026

Draft, pending legal review. This policy has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and may change before DextraDesk launches publicly.

We want you to pay for DextraDesk only if it works well for you. That's why there's a Free plan: try it on your own PC before you pay anything.

Cancelling

You can cancel a paid plan any time in the app under Settings → Billing → Manage billing. You won't be charged again, and you keep your paid plan until the end of the period you've already paid for. Then your account moves to the Free plan; nothing is deleted.

Deleting your account is different: it cancels a paid plan immediately, and the unused part of the period isn't refunded. To use up the time you've paid for, cancel first and delete your account after the period ends.

14-day refund on your first payment

If you're not happy with DextraDesk, email us within 14 days of your first payment for the Personal plan, monthly or yearly, and we'll refund that payment in full. No questions asked; we'd just welcome a line on what didn't work. This applies once per customer.

Renewals

When something goes wrong on our side

If you were charged by mistake, charged twice, or DextraDesk was unusable for a long time because of a problem on our side, tell us and we'll put it right with a refund or a credit.

How to ask for a refund

Email support@dextradesk.com from your account's email address, with "Refund" in the subject. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe, and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days. When a subscription payment is refunded, the subscription ends and your account moves to the Free plan.

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank; we can usually sort it out faster.

Accounts closed for misuse

If we close an account because it broke our Terms of Service, for example by reaching computers without permission, we may not refund the remaining time.

Your legal rights

This policy doesn't take away any rights you have under the consumer laws of the place you live, such as the right to cancel within 14 days in the EU and UK.
